PUNK ROCK CHANCERS OR PUNK ROCK ORIGINALS? Forming in early 1976 and rehearsed all through-out the year in a attic in Bromley and by the time the end of the year broke the Vacants were up and running on the London Circuit. Playing all the regular haunts. In their ranks they featured a young Martin Chambers on drums who would eventually end up as the Pretenders drummer but not before slogging it out with the Vacants! After recording a 12 track album for Beatt International the band thought they had cracked it. Sadly the album was only released abroad that included Italy, Spain, France and even as far as Australia. Versions also appeared in German and Canada… So why not the UK? Only the record label knew! Here for the first time, the entire recordings are released on CD in a limited pressing of only 200 copies. Worthless Trash / Beat On The Brat / Half Man Woman / B a d / Television Viewer / Misuse Of Love / Sometimes Good Guys Don’t Wear White / Im Allrite / Pushin Too Hard / Dead Girl / What Happened To You / Louie Louie |
